Building future dynasties…

The recently concluded @Bloodstock South Africa Online May Auction showed significant improvement in the aggregate to R7, 566,500 as opposed to 2023 where it was R427 000.

#KZN Breeders were among the many buyers at the Bloodstock South Africa May Online auction, in particular Camargue Stud who bought 6 mares for R592k, Blue Sky Thoroughbreds 1 mare, Bruce Campbell 1 mare, Hadlow Stud 2 mares (one with foal at foot), Clifton Stud 1 mare, and newcomer to KZN Breeding, Tracey King from Jabulani Estates 1 mare.

By purchasing of these mares at the sale, #KZN Breeders are fortifying the regions equine breeding and racing legacy, and ensuring that it remains a formidable competitor in the industry. These mares acquisitions will inject diversity and quality into KZN’s breeding programmes, and hopefully enriching the province’s existing bloodlines with new and fresh genes that in turn, present superior and winning racehorses, elevating our #KZNBreds to new breeding and racing heights.
