The final log has been published for the KZN Breeders Series for the juveniles, to be run on 30 June at Greyville Racecourse, lead by Piemonte Stud’s Alfeo, a stakes winning Crusade. Crusade is currently on 39.5% winners to runners and has produced 4 Stakes Winners this season.
Crusade’s three year olds are flying and he produced his first double yesterday at Greyville for trainers Paul Lafferty and Dean Kannemeyer, whilst KZN breeder Mr Shakti Bunwarie enjoyed a double on the day.
White Dragon, ridden by Leslie Sercombe, clocked 1:38 1/10 to emerge victorious in the 2018 Britam Kenya Guineas Challenge at Ngong Race Course in Nairobi yesterday. White Dragon is by Await The Dawn, bred in partnership by Mr Steve Sturlese and P De Marigny.
The Fort’s draft includes yearlings by successful sires Querari and Toreador, and promising young stallions Crusade, Master Of My Fate, Noble Tune and champion first crop sire What A Winter.
