Act Of War’s statistics for his 3yo crop are very impressive. His daughter, War Of Athena, was certainly not disgraced in her performance on Saturday after a tough Triple Tiara and Gr1 winning campaign, finishing a fast 3rd just 0.10 off the eventual winner Zarina in the Gr1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes.

Act Of War’s 3yo crop stats read as follows off www.nhra.co.za:

The son of Dynasty who has let down impeccably and has a superb temperament, looks to have a very exciting future ahead for KZN and is confirmed to have a full book of 150 mares for the 2021 season.

War Of Athena is currently enjoying a well earned rest after her race on Saturday against Captain’s Ransom who didn’t have luck in the draw or the run and found herself finishing three lengths off.

We look forward to watching these two fillies clash again in the future as four year olds and these two top fillies have added much excitement for racing which is currently operating behind closed doors and leaving the public eager with anticipation of another meeting in future.

War Of Athena is a strong candidate for the Equus Awards in August as Champion 3YO Filly, having won the Triple Tiara and Gr1 Woolavington, and placing on Saturday in the Gr1.

Keep an eye out for Gr1 sprint winner Battle Force, who is due to make an appearance once more in July before the end of the season.
