Eight year old ultra consistent Kahal mare Rouge Allure, has won her first feature of her career, taking the Jacaranda Listed at Turffontein over 1800m in very soft going.

The tough Summerhill-bred mare, out of Mekyaas by Pivotal, is now a 13-time winner trained by Stephen Moffat and owned by Mr Albert Rapp in partnership with Mick Goss.

Rouge Allure finished second to Pin Up in the Gr3 Acacia Stakes in her previous start, beating amongst the field Gr1 winner Sentbydestiny.

On Saturday afternoon she defeated the likes of Gr2 and Gr3 winner Bold Fortune, and Pin Up.

This is an American female line that has produced many Gr1 winners and multiple winners to boot and family of sire Skimming and Eltish.

Rouge Allure is one of two remaining runners for the late champion sire Kahal (Machiavellian).

Congratulations to all concerned.
