The magnificent daughter of Flower Alley consigned by Bush Hill Stud attracted plenty of attention and was knocked down to Mr G Van Lear for R375 000.
KZN once again had success yesterday with a half-sister to Gr1 winner Lady In Black from Rathmor, whilst Bezanova’s half-brother sold from Clifton to Chris Gerber, whilst Hadlow sold their outstanding Querari to Mary Slack. The National 2YO Sale has produced amongst others KZN-breds Gr1 winner and Equus Champion Sprinter Talktothestars, as well as the recent Million Mile (and Stakes winner), Gr1 aimed Matador Man and international globe-trotting multiple Group Winner The Apache, who was famously purchased for R80 000 and earned in excess of R17 million.
Clifton Stud did KZN proud when their magnificent daughter of first season sire, Soft Falling Rain, was knocked down to Form Bloodstock for R700 000. Rathmor Stud also had a great day, their best with Lot 68 In Auro who sold to Eight Mile Lodge for R500 000, whilst Roski’s eyecatching grey son of Captain Of All sold for R325 000.
