Boom Boom! Yes the future looks bright for bloodstock sales.
It was an historic sale for many reasons, not only did 2 #KZNBreds from @Blue Sky Thoroughbreds sell for over a million – Lot 330, the One World- Sllent Crusade colt for R1.3 million, and Lot 364 – Gimmethegreelight – Strawberry Line filly for R1.9 million, but the aggregrate of R200 190 000, with an average of R 581 948 (compared to 2023 – R4442 672) and a median of R400 000 (compared2023- R300 000), shows that buyers are back with a vengeance to buy our bloodstock.
It is extremely encouraging for breeders both in KZN and South Africa, and with the relaxation of the EU protocols, the future is looking brighter by the day!
