KZN farm Summerview Stud will offer five yearlings at the 2018 KZN Yearling Sale, which is set to take place at the Sibaya Entertainment World on July 5th and 6th.
A list of the #kznbreds registered with the KZN Breeders Premium Scheme can be found below. 142 Yearlings from the province of KZN will be represented at Sibaya the week before the running of the Vodacom Durban July, with the auction days scheduled for 5 and 6 July.
The Fort’s draft includes yearlings by successful sires Querari and Toreador, and promising young stallions Crusade, Master Of My Fate, Noble Tune and champion first crop sire What A Winter.
Mooi River farm, and long-time KZN Yearling Sale stalwarts, Yellow Star Sale will be represented by six quality yearlings at the 2018 KZN Yearling Sale, set to take place on the 5th and 6th of July this year.

The third and final day of the National Yearling Sale proved a successful one for Scott Bros, who knocked down a beautiful son of first season son of Galileo, Kingsbarns, to David Ferraris for R400 000. Lot 261 is the first foal out of Trippi mare, Sebonac. The impressive colt will be destined for Hong Kong, and descends from the family of French Gr1 winner, Zambezi Sun.
KZN once again had success yesterday with a half-sister to Gr1 winner Lady In Black from Rathmor, whilst Bezanova’s half-brother sold from Clifton to Chris Gerber, whilst Hadlow sold their outstanding Querari to Mary Slack. Session 1 saw Rathmor Stud sell The Vow, an Oratorio half-sister to charismatic KZN owner Alesh Naidoo for R425 000….
Clifton Stud did KZN proud when their magnificent daughter of first season sire, Soft Falling Rain, was knocked down to Form Bloodstock for R700 000. Rathmor Stud also had a great day, their best with Lot 68 In Auro who sold to Eight Mile Lodge for R500 000, whilst Roski’s eyecatching grey son of Captain Of All sold for R325 000.
