Bush Hill Stud have introduced the first foals of Flying The Flag. The superbly-bred handsome chestnut son of Galileo has impressed, with his offspring throwing his presence, substance and quality.
Trainer Doug Campbell has recounted previously how her connections never placed a bet on Val-La-Ree in her first run, after her gallop at Scottsville saw the filly flitting all over the track and her antics didnt infuse much confidence for her first race – however she blew them away by winning on debut by four lengths!

Almosthaditall, who made South African breeding news headlines when she sold for a sales topping R2,4-million to Rathmor Stud, is at home in Nottingham Road in foal to Noble Tune, with an outstanding Dynasty colt at foot.

Queen Laurie by Great Britain, out of Maggie Kay, swooped to victory last night for Mr G Maroun as trainer and owner in the Gardenia Listed over 1000m. Bred by Worldwise Breeding Syndicate (Nom: Mr K Hunter), the dam Maggie Kay stands at Yellow Star Stud who consigned a full brother to Queen Laurie at the 2017 KZN Yearling Sale.
