He is the first foal of his Gr2 winning dam, the speedy Go Indigo. Her second foal by Var, a proper looking speedball, sold for R200 000 at the recent 2019 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale to Suzette Viljoen.
Go Indigo won 8 times including the Gr2 Gauteng Fillies Guineas and Gr3 Three Troikas, this is the family of sire On Stage and Tar Heel.Eightfolds Lass is another doing us proud – a half-sister to our talented Cassie O’ Malley and Crissy Sanchez, now both broodmares, the daughter of Eightfold Path won recently after placing second on two prior occasions from just four starts for trainer Joey Soma and owners Messrs D Chinsammy & E Naicker.
Captain Tatters and Just Vogue each won a day apart from eachother – Captain Tatters, a colt by Gimmethegreenlight out of Lady Tatty is trained by Justin Snaith, and won on debut and finished second, second time out. The colt is owned by Mr J P Cuvelier.Our bold daughter of Just As Well has been seldom out of the money, Just As Vogue won her 6th race for trainer Gavin Van Zyl and owners Messrs R G Coppin & G Baldeo & Team G Racing (Nom: Mr G H van Zyl).
She has in addition placed 18 times from 37 starts, and earned almost R600 000 in stakes! She is Merit Rated 90.
Roski has had great results recently, including a second place with Leven Point in Zimbabwe’s premier race the Gr1 Castle Tankard on Saturday.
