It may have been a double for Noble Tune had Noble Joshua not been scratched on the day after being injured in transit, the winning Gareth Van Zyl runner was strongly fancied for Sunday.

A leader at one point of the race in the final 400m, Frozen Tune has been unlucky – placing second in five of his eight places from 10 runs.

Noble Tune stands at Rathmor Stud and Mike McHardy is pleased to report that he has had visiting mares from the Cape this season.

Amongst Rathmor’s draft for the 2019 National Yearling Sale is a Noble Tune half-brother to Gr1 winner, Lady In Black.
