New Chairman For KZN Breeders Club
New Chairman For KZN Breeders Club |
As of the 1 July, Lee Scribante of Piemonte Stud will be taking over the Chairmanship of the KZN Breeders Club, whilst previous Chairman Koos De Klerk steps down into the position of Vice-Chairman.
Koos De Klerk (of Yellow Star Stud) has been the Chairman for the past three years and in that time has taken the KZN Breeders Club to new and exciting heights, implementing brilliant marketing strategies including that of the KZN Breeders Race Day including the KZN Breeders Series and Million Mile – a day totalling over R2,6million in stakes which has grown substantially each year in its success.
We would like to thank Koos as well his family for their very hard work over the past few years in assisting the KZN Breeders Club.
Lee has been involved in horseracing for over forty years, and besides racing strings of horses in Port Elizabeth and Summerveld, Lee and his son Dino operate Piemonte Stud from Summerveld – a farm that has 58 quality broodmares under its banner, with some mares standing in Mooi River and the Cape.
We would like to wish Lee all the best and look forward to more to come from KZN in the future!
