TOP FAMILIES ABOUND IN BUSH HILL’S NOVEMBER DRAFT
Bush Hill Stud, breeders of such luminaries as Stellite, Wolf Whistle, and Zirconeum, will be offering a classy string at the 2021 November Two Year Old Sale.
Sires represented in this draft include Captain Of All, Crusade, Gimmethegreenlight and Bush Hill’s own very promising resident stallion, Willow Magic.
The latter, whose first crop produced millionaire MK’s Pride, is represented here by Magic Link (Lot 67), a colt whose dam is a half-sister to G1 Summer Cup winner Wagner and the very smart Hong Kong galloper Nassa.
Reigning champion sire Gimmethegreenlight has a blue-blooded colt on offer in this draft in the form of Port Quin Bay (Lot 59) -a son of the Singspiel sired Listed East Coast Handicap queen Polzeath and from the same family as multiple US G1 winner Tinners Way.
El Draque (Lot 23) is a Captain Of All half-brother to two smart winners including G3 Cape Classic runner up Captain Tatters and this colt hails from the immediate family of current star filly War Of Athena, among many others.
Bush Hill’s resident Galileo horse Flying The Flag, who has been having his share of winners recently, has three lots on sale. The Wellerman (Lot 20) is a colt out of a Silvano half-sister to stakes winning two-year-old Juan Two Three, Red Smoke (Lot 27) is a colt out of speedy G3 Magnolia Handicap winner Lee Danzig, and Snow Cloud (Lot 84) is a colt from the same family as last season’s G1 Vodacom Durban July winner Kommetdieding.
The late Crusade is another stallion represented in this consignment -he is responsible for a half-brother (Lot 57) to Listed Michaelmas Handicap hero King Neptune and Sirens Of Silence (Lot 15). The latter is a colt whose twice winning dam is a half-sister to G1 SA Fillies Sprint winner Scarena, and his granddam is the stakes placed, five time winner Temperance.
