Roy’s Taxi and Banking April are joint log leaders at 31 points each of the KZN Breeders Series.
The much anticipated KZN Breeders Golf Day will take place once again on Thursday, 15 June at Royal Durban Golf Club. The four balls are R1200 each and include green fees, goodie bag with shirt and cap, dinner and prizegiving.
Sponsorships are available for the day at R2000 each.

Just the typical type of horse Crusade has developed a reputation to produce, Roski-bred Calladdi was the pick of the parade ring on his debut at Scottsville, owned in the combined and successful partnership of Team G Racing (Nom: Mr G H van Zyl) & Green Street Bloodstock (Pty) Ltd (Justin Vermaak, C Vermaak & A Vermaak).
Patrick Ellis of Yellow Star says of Panza: “He really is a one of a kind horse – he refuses to work and show us anything at home but come race day he tries his heart out! It is very difficult to keep him fit, but when he is fit he is always a tough horse to beat.”
The KZN Breeders Awards were held at Bellwood Stud on 26 November. Scott Bros’ son of Overlord, also voted Equus Champion Sprinter, was crowned 2016 KZN Breeders Horse Of The Year.
Entries have opened for the KZN Breeders Series of eight races at a stake of R200 000 each, held on KZN Breeders Race Day taking place in Sunday 25 June 2017, and last year saw a record with almost 900 horses entered for the day. Download Form in link.
