Billy Jacobson opened his account in the first leg of the KZN Breeders “Level The Playing Fields” Series by winning aboard Putchini in a brilliant race with a nail-biting finish. On Sunday’s second leg at Scottsville of four, Billy will be aboard The Poet competing against Athandiwe Mgudla in the same pool for log leader.

Round two of four in total, of the “Level The Playing Fields” Series takes place at Scottsville on Sunday 30 April.
The final fields of both pools to be run on the day have been released below and see the previous winning jockeys Billy Jacobson (previously on Putchini) and Athandiwe Mgudla (previously on Royal Agree) drawn to ride The Poet and Roy Is Second respectively, this time over the 1400m.
