Originally located in Ermelo, Clifton Stud – owned by Peter and Jenny Blyth – was relocated to Rosetta, in Kwazulu Natal.
Clifton Stud is situated 2,5kms off the R103, east of Rosetta and the farm is 138 hectares in extent of which 36 hectares is under irrigation.
Clifton Stud owns approximately 30 mares and boards about 20 for clients. Facilities comprise two stallion boxes, and 25 stables including foaling boxes and crush facilities. The farm has 24 paddocks which average 3.7 hectares in size.
Clifton Stud has bred champions such as Classic Flag – winner of the 1998 Vodacom Durban July, Bezanova, Whatalady, Olympic Flag, Fort Vogue, Print The Pounds and Jet Express who won the Jebel Ali Mile in Dubai.
