Warm White Night Joins Yellow Star Stud

Dual Gr1 winning son of Western Winter, Warm White Night has joined Yellow Star Stud for the upcoming 2017 breeding season. The handsome stallion who won the Gr1 Gold Medallion as a juvenile and the Gr1 Cape Flying Championship at age 4, relocated from Klawervlei Stud and Koos De Klerk reports that the stallion is settling in well.

Warm White Night is from a phenomenal female line – out of Thousand Nights by Foveros, a half-brother to Equus Champion Stayer Highland Night, Night Watch, Gr2 Derby winner Prince Asad and Vogue – the latter a leading broodmare at Clifton Stud of Gr2 Peninsula winner Fort Vogue and Gr3 Acacia winner, Whatalady.

As a racehorse, Warm White Night with his blaze and long white stockings was Merit Rated 114, won seven times in total over 1000-1200m from 2-4 years old. He earned R1,6 million in stakes in the process.

His notable progeny include the likes of Gr2 Selangor Cup winner Hard Day’s Night, Kemal Kavur, Executive Power and Harlem Shake. Hard Day’s Night has won and placed from his first three starts in Mauritius, his win recently on 10 June.

Warm White Night will stand for a fee of R10 000 this season at Yellow Star. He stands alongside Gr1 placed son of Galileo, The Assayer, Kildonan and exceptional broodmare sire Spectrum.
