KZN Breeders Race Series Log For Two Year Olds – 22 April 2013

231 Of KZN’s finest two year-olds are competing for space in one race over 1200m for a stake R200 000 on 30 June, our KZN Breeders Race Day incorporating the Million Mile. The races are exclusively for ‘KZN-breds’ (horses registered with the KZN Breeders Premium Scheme).

The top 50 three year old KZN-bred colts and fillies in line to run on 30 June 2013 in six races (seven with two year olds) for R200 000 each – over distances of 1200m, 1600m and 1900m. Over 600 entries for six races for three year olds and up, and over 250 entries were recieved for the single Juvenile Two year old race.

Keep an eye as we post logs fortnightly to see which KZN-breds will make it into the final fields. The log excludes the Million Mile entries which will follow normal entry rules.

The two year old log-leaders currently tied for the first three positons all with 20 points are King’s Bay, bred by Sugar Hill Stud and Mr Bruce Campbell and Princess Julietta (bred by Linington & Sons), both progeny of top two year old sire King Of Kings. Van Der Scaler by Stronghold is bred by Shadwell Stud, trained by Patrick Lunn. Supplementary entries have now closed for these races.
