Crusade Relocating To Clifton Stud

Crusade, who has produced four Stakes Winners this season is relocating to Peter and Jenny Blyth’s Clifton Stud for the 2018 season.

Crusade began his career at Scott Bros’ Highdown Stud and with their total dispersal coming up on 17 July, the Crusade Syndicate made the decision to relocate the well related son of Mr Greeley.

Crusade, a winner of the Gr1 Middle Park Stakes is a half-brother to multiple Gr1 winner Seventh Heaven and to two other Group Performers. Crusade is currently on 40% winners to runners with over R4,2-million in stakes earned. As it happens, Clifton Stud have bred successfully with Crusade, producing twice Stakes Winning Covered In Snow.

Crusade held his own at the recent Nationals, averaging R280 000 in Session 1 and R150 000 in Session 2, for a combined total of 12 yearlings sold.
