Bezrin Arrives At Rathmor Stud Share Bezrin(USA) arrived at Rathmor Stud yesterday after standing last season in the Cape. Michael McHardy of Rathmor says "Bezrin arrived today and he seems to have settled in well and enjoying his new surroundings, I look forward to a good season ahead." He will be managed by Manny Testa of Midlands Thoroughbreds. Bezrin, by Danzig out of Darling Flame by Capote, had another winner recently bred by Anna Riddle, named Two Tone Rocka. She won her race at Clairwood on Sunday. Filly Bushwacker has been nominated for the Grade 3 Jacaranda Handicap over 1800m to be run 31 March. Bezrin has already produced amongst many others Eastern Cape Racing-Horse-Of-The-Year and 12-time winner Celtic Fire, as well as Eastern Cape Champion Stayer Thunderflash, Tetelestai and Kenyan Champion Two-Year Old Lazrin. Bezrin was a three time winner, including the Prix Montretout (L) in France and he placed four times (including two Listed races and two Grade 3) having only being unplaced (fifth) once from nine starts. Bezrin will stand along side two stallions at Rathmor, Woodborough(USA) and Strategic News(AUS). Rathmor Stud have bred multiple Grade 1 winners including American Grade 1 winner Gypsy's Warning, Wendywood, Malteme and Surabi.
