Son Of Badger's Drift Crowned Kenya's Champion Three Year Old Colt

HIH Wayne Kobusch Von Konigsberg of Wood-Moore Manor Stud has advised that Just Bluffing, a son of Badger's Drift, has been crowned Kenya's Champion Three Year Old colt for the 2012-2013 racing season.
Just Bluffing produced a blistering win in April this year, to take home the Gr 1 Kenyan Derby over 2400m, winning by over a length. He then ran second in the St. Ledger over 2800m. He is out of the mare Medusa, by Jallad. Congratulations to his owner David Armstrong and trainers' Nur Nuno & Texuanze Karugu.
Badger's Drift is a leading KZN based Sire of % Winners : Runner and the sire of Grade 1, 2 and 3 winner Ivory Trail, Gr 3 winner Hospitality (also out of a Jallad mare), as well as Stakes winners; Imperialist, Lord Badger, Act of Supremeacy, Golden Bow and Like Paradise.
Badger's Drift himself is a triple Gr 1 winner, including The Classic where he set a new course record, the SA Derby and the Daily News 2000. He placed in the Gr 1 Cape Derby and Cape Guineas, as well as the Gr 2 Newmarket Guineas and Elevation Stakes. A R500 000 record-setting yearling, he earned in excess of R1,8 million.
