Vodacom Durban July Day Theme Released

With just 151 days to go before the big event, The Official Vodacom Durban July website has released the theme for the 2012 Vodacom Durban July this year, which is A Material World.
The big race is being run on 7 July, and don't forget to diarise the KZN Yearling Sale taking place in the heart of Durban at Suncoast Casino on 5 and 6 July, before Africa's greatest horse-racing event is run, be there to buy your future champion and the chance to win R3-million with your KZN-bred.
A MATERIAL WORLD?
Seven billion people, the latest count.
Concern for the planet, the energies mount.
This event is red, that's for sure.
But support for green, is part of the cure.
Spare a thought, for Mother Earth.
Need to save her, for all we're worth.
Sustainably harvested, natural, organic.
Alternative fibres, no time for panic.
All these words, what do they mean?

Reduce, respect, reconstruct, 'My Dear'.

Show support, through what you wear.
Or what it's made of, concern with flair.
Glitz and sparkle, are definitely in.
The overall impression, is what will win.
So for this day - Love red! Think green.
