Bush Hill Stud Introduce Sire Prospect Redoute's Promise(AUS)
| |
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the first son of multiple champion sire Redoute’s Choice to stand at stud in South Africa in the form of Redoute’s Promise. This exciting young horse is not only by a champion but he is out of the multiple Gr 1 winning filly Perfect Promise who flew the South African flag with distinction.
Inheriting the crown from his sire Danehill, Redoute’s Choice is the king of Australian sires. In the last twelve months he has hit such career milestones as siring 114 stakes winners, reaching an incredible 24 individual Group One winners with World Champion Sprinter Lankan Rupee and siring his 64th Million Dollar yearling. Redoute’s Choice is undoubtedly an Australian legend, building his legacy through the deeds of his sire sons and broodmare who continue to leave Group One stars of their own. He has already proven himself a dominant sire of sires with 12 of his sons having already left stakes winners – they include:
- SNITZEL – 22 SW inc. Cox Plate winner Shamus Award, G1 winners Sizzling & Snitzerland; champion Australian 3rd crop sire
- NOT A SINGLE DOUBT – 22 SW inc. G1-winning 2YO Miracles of Life, SING-G1 winner Always Certain and brilliant 2YOs Karuta Queen & Villa Verde
- STRATUM – 22 SW inc. three G1 winners; champion Australian 1st & 2nd Crop Sire
There have been a further four of his sons who have sired Gr 1 winners – Bradbury’s Luck, Duelled, Fast ‘n’ Famous and Nadeem.
Not surprisingly, Arrowfield Stud, who stood the mighty Danehill and were then responsible for making Redoute’s Choice himself the success he now is have chosen to already stand three of his sons alongside him in a very elite band of stallions.
Let us again touch on the dam line of Redoute’s Promise. His dam Perfect Promise was winner of 8 races from a distance of 1000m up to 1600m. Her victories locally included the Gr 1 Cape Fillies Guineas, The Diana Stakes Gr3 and the listed Prix du Cap and a second in the Gr 1 Majorca Stakes. But it was the international stage that she proved just how good she wa when becoming the first South African bred filly to win a Gr 1 in Australia when she landed the CJ Orr Stakes, she also won the AJC Emancipation Stakes Gr 2, and placed second in the Gr 1 Stradbroke Hcp and the Gr 2 Theo Marks Stakes.
This filly’s performances on their own would have been enough for anyone to get excited about but then we have to look at the achievements of her full sister Irridescence who not only was a local Gr 1 winner too, having won the Woolavington Gr 1 and the Fillies Classic Gr 1, but she also went on to break many Australian hearts when defeating their beloved champion filly Oiuja Board in the Gr 1 QE II Cup in Hong Kong after winning the Gr 2 Balanchine Stakes in Dubai.
As if any further evidence was required on the potency of this great female line the half sister to these two remarkable fillies in Lady Asrai who was a stakes placed winner of three is already responsible for the talented stakes winner of 6 Admiral’s Daughter.
Redoute’s Promise was sadly unraced due to an injury in training prior to him having his first start.
Considering the sire lines in this pedigree with the dam by Caesour out of a mare by Dancing Champ with the next two damsires being Elevation and Jamaico it is no wonder it has been successful itself, but now offers incredible opportunity to breeders to access these influential lines all in one package. In summary one has access here to a son of an international champion who has two international Gr 1 winners in his first dam from a host of proven bloodlines in this country at a very affordable service fee of only R 5000 Live Foal.
Please give us a call to come and view this horse and our other stallions or if we can be of any assistance.
