Reign As Kings proved why KZN bred horses are a force to be reckoned with, with a scintillating victory in the Sentinel Stakes on Sunday at Clairwood.
With his favourite jockey Anthony Delpech at the helm, Reign As Kings went away to win by a length over the gallant My Jelly Bean.
This victory gives Reign As Kings his third straight win on the trot for Mike de Kock, and the colt is likely headed for bigger purses and greater things in the future.
Somerset Stud were thrilled for the owners Mr and Mrs Ray Koedyk, who were voted Gold Circle's February 2012 Owners Of The Month, with classy 2 year old colt Reign As Kings hat trick win.
Congratulations must also go to Peter and Jenny Blyth where dual Group One winning sire King Of Kings' stands at Clifton Stud, and to Warwick and Karin Render of Bush Hill Stud who board his dam, Lee Danzig, on behalf of their client and breeder of Reign As Kings, Mr R Hanna.
King Of Kings is also the sire of New Zealand import, who covered his first book of mares last season at Bush Hill Stud, King's Chapel. Lee Danzig has been confirmed in foal to him.
